Jens Van’t Klooster is an Assistant Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. His research focuses on the governance of financial markets, with a particular emphasis on how climate change is redefining the roles of central bankers and banking supervisors.

He is also a visiting researcher at the LSE Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and a policy researcher at Dezernat Zukunft: Institute for Macrofinance.
