Biographie

Jacek Wojnicki is Professor of Political Science at the University of Warsaw, where he chairs the Department of Political Systems.

His research focuses on the political systems of Central European and Balkan countries, as well as on the functioning of public administration (national and local) in Poland and Europe.

Jacek Wojnicki obtained his PhD in political science (2000) and his habilitation (2008) from the University of Warsaw, and became associate professor in 2012 at the Institute of European Studies. In 2017, he was appointed Professor of social sciences (2017). Since 2019, he chairs the Department of Political Systems. Jacek Wojnicki has worked for the Polish public administration (Chancellery of the Sejm, Warsaw City Hall).
