Jean-Baptiste Fressoz is a historian of science, technology and the environment at the CNRS. His main areas of research are environmental history, the Anthropocene, modern disinhibitions and climate knowledge. In 2024 he will publish “Sans transition. Une nouvelle histoire de l’énergie” (Paris, Le Seuil).
