Raluca Bercea is a law teacher at the West University of Timisoara in Romania, specializing in European Union law, International Protection of Human Rights and comparative law.
Biographie
She has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, as part of the ‘Legal Globalisation and Pluralism’ master’s programme, and a guest lecturer for the British Association of Comparative Law at the University of Kent . She launched an international summer school in European law in Udine, where she has taught for over ten years. She is co-founder of the Romanian Journal of Comparative Law and director of the Centre for Comparative Law and Interdisciplinarity at the Faculty of Law in Timisoara. As an expert for the Council of Europe, she has led training projects for lawyers in the field of human rights and has translated books and studies on comparative and European law by renowned foreign authors.
