Frédéric Keck is Director of Research at the Laboratoire d'anthropologie sociale (CNRS-Collège de France-EHESS). After studying philosophy at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris and anthropology at UC Berkeley, he has researched the history of anthropology and contemporary biopolitical issues raised by avian flu. He was awarded the bronze medal of the CNRS in 2012 and headed the research department of the musée du quai Branly between 2014 and 2018.
