Biographie

Marc Debus is Professor of Comparative Politics at the University of Mannheim and a member of the board of the German Political Science Association.

His research focuses on political institutions in multi-level systems, coalition dynamics, and the analysis of political programs.

Marc Debus received his PhD in 2006 from the University of Konstanz. He held faculty positions at the universities of Mannheim and Oldenburg. From 2017 to 2020, Debus was the director of the University of Mannheim’s Center for Social Science Research (MZES). Since 2018, he has been a member of the board of the German Political Science Association.
