Biographie

Pierre-Louis Périn is an attorney at law specialising in corporate law. After ten years in the legal departments of financial and industrial groups (Peugeot Citroen, Thomson, Axa), Pierre-Louis became an avocat and is a member of the Paris bar. He has been a partner at the firms Deloitte (2000-2001), SJBerwin – KWM (20001-2017) and Reed Smith (2017-2019).

His practice covers Venture Capital, Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisition. He also has expertise instructuring private equity management companies and vehicles, corporate governance, incentiveschemes, shareholders disputes, and joint ventures. He is bilingual in French and English and has an international practice. He has been recognised by clients and colleagues and ranked in reference guides such as Chambers Europe, Legal 500 and Best Lawyers.

Pierre-Louis is an active member of France Invest (French Venture & PE investors Association) and is the editor of France Invest’s “Best Practices Guide for Venture Capital” (2010, 2019). He is the co-author of a reference book on corporate law (société par actions simplifiée) (7th edition in preparation).  He is an affiliate professor at Sciences Po Law School and gives lectures at HEC, Insead and Universities.

Pierre-Louis is a graduate of Sciences Po and holds a Law PHD from University Paris II – Panthéon Assas.
