Biographie

Ashleigh is a health care reporter for POLITICO, based in London. Prior to joining POLITICO, Ashleigh was a reporter at the science policy publication Research Fortnight where she covered biomedical research policy. She has also worked at the British Lung Foundation, writing health information for patients.

Before moving to the UK, Ashleigh worked at GroundUp, a South African news agency, where she specialized in reporting on public health, urban land justice and gender. She studied at the University of Cape Town, earning an honours degree in media theory and practice, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in film and media production.
