Biographie
Elie Cavigneaux was Advisor to the European Union Counter-Terrorism Coordinator until 2021 and has served as Policy Coordination Manager at the Council of the European Union until 2016. Elie Cavigneaux now works at the French Ministry of the Interior.
Mr. Cavigneaux began his career with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2004 with a posting as Desk officer – Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon and then Desk officer in charge of the European Neighbourhood Policy from 2007 to 2009. Between 2009 and 2013, he was Diplomatic advisor at the French Embassy in Warsaw before becoming Diplomatic advisor at the French Embassy in Berlin.
He is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris IV) (Bachelor of Arabic) and INALCO (Bachelor of Arabic).
