Biographie
Marianne Kneuer is Professor of Political Systems and Comparative Politics at TU Dresden, with research focusing on the internal dynamics of democracies and autocracies, the effects of digitalization on political processes, and regime comparison. Previously, she was Professor of Comparative Politics and International Relations at the University of Hildesheim (2011-2021), where she founded research centers on internet and politics and digital transformation, and held numerous leadership roles including presidency of the International Political Science Association (2018-2021). Kneuer has published extensively in journals such as Democratization, Third World Quarterly, and the European Journal of Social Theory.
