He is also Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National School for the Judiciary.
Born on October 26, 1963, in Nancy, Mr. Rémy Heitz began his career in 1989 as a deputy prosecutor at the Pontoise District Court. In September 2021, he became Attorney General at the Paris Court of Appeal, a position he held until his appointment as Attorney General at the Court of Cassation.
Mr. Rémy Heitz is a Knight of the Legion of Honor and an Officer of the National Order of Merit.
