Melanie Walter-Rogg is a professor of political science with a focus on methods at the University of Regensburg. She is co-editor of the book The 2018 state election in Bavaria – Analyzes of voting behavior and political culture in the Free State (Springer VS, 2023), the Palgrave Pivot Environmental Performance in Democracies and Autocracies (2020) and the book Political Ecology of the Metropolis (ECPR Press, 2013) as well as the author of a number of articles and book chapters on the topics of Empirical Election Research, Public Policy Analysis, Metropolitan Governance, Urban Democracy as well as Political Culture and Political Behavior.
