Biographie
Pedro Riera is an associate professor of political science at the Department of Social Sciences at Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). He holds a Master’s in Social Sciences from the Juan March Institute in Madrid and a Doctorate in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. He served as the director of the Graduate School of Economics and Political Science from 2020 to 2023, and has been leading the Master’s in Political and Electoral Analysis at UC3M since 2019. His research interests include electoral behavior and institutional engineering, always with a comparative and quantitative approach. He has published his research in journals such as Comparative Political Studies, European Journal of Political Research, West European Politics, Political Behavior, and Party Politics, among others.
