Jason Bordoff is one of the world's leading experts on energy and climate policy. He is the co-founding dean of the Columbia Climate School and currently director of the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Biographie
Jason Bordoff is one of the world’s leading experts on energy and climate policy. He is the co-founding dean of the Columbia Climate School and currently director of the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. Jason Bordoff is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Petroleum Council.
Jason Bordoff was a consultant at McKinsey & Company before becoming an advisor to the Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Treasury Department during the Clinton Administration.
In 2009, he became Associate Director for Climate Change at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. He later served as Senior Advisor for Energy and Environmental Policy at the National Economic Council, and then as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Energy and Climate Change at the National Security Council.
His research interests lie at the intersection of economics, environment, energy, and national security. He is a columnist for Foreign Policy magazine.
He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and also holds a master of letters degree from Oxford University.
