David Levaï is a Fellow for International Climate Policy and Diplomacy at the UN Foundation as well as Associate Researcher at IDDRI (Institut du développement durable et des relations internationales). His work focuses on climate issues and climate negotiations under the Paris Agreement.
Biographie
David Levaï is a Fellow for International Climate Policy and Diplomacy at the UN Foundation as well as Associate Researcher at IDDRI (Institut du développement durable et des relations internationales). His work focuses on climate issues and climate negotiations under the Paris Agreement.
He previously worked for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2013-2016 where he was one of the climate negotiators for the Paris Agreement, particularly on mitigation issues and the bilateral relationship with the U.S. In addition to his roles in government, he also worked for ACCION, an international finance network, and PlaNET Finance from 2011-2013 where he developed projects in Africa to link access to energy and financial services.
David Levaï holds an MBA from French business school ESSEC and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University in New York.
